Chinese SRT Translator

Send an .srt file, get it back in Chinese within 24 hours — same cue count, same timestamps, nothing shifted.

Check your Chinese .srt before you pay anyone

Drop a subtitle file below. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing leaves your machine. You get the cue count, the worst reading speeds, the lines that are too long for Chinese, and a corrected .srt you can download and keep whether or not you ever buy anything.

Why Chinese subtitles specifically

Chinese subtitle files are needed in both directions: Chinese content going out to global platforms, and foreign content coming in. Simplified and Traditional are separate deliverables, not one file with a font setting.

The part most tools get wrong

Chinese is double-byte with no word spacing, so reading speed per cue is roughly double the Latin equivalent. Most machine output is far too short per cue and reads as a series of fragments rather than sentences.

That is why this is not a one-click converter. Every file goes through machine translation first, then a manual pass on cue length, line breaks and reading speed before it reaches you.

Reading speed in Chinese

Chinese is measured at roughly 9 characters per second and 16 characters per line. Because each character is a syllable and often a word, a cue that looks visually balanced can still be unreadable at speed.

What you get back

Send your .srt — $5 per file Reply within 24 hours · Pay after you check it · Not happy, I redo it free

That button opens your own email app. If nothing happens when you click it, just write to gwdaeoi@outlook.com and attach the file — same thing, no account, no form.

Questions

Is the checker really free?

Yes, and it does not upload your file anywhere. It parses the subtitle locally in your browser, reports what is wrong, and hands you back a corrected .srt. If that is all you needed, take the file and go.

How long does one file take?

Under 24 hours for anything up to 60 minutes of runtime. A full season is usually 3–5 days depending on how many languages you need.

Can you match an existing Chinese subtitle style?

Yes — send one episode you already like and I will match its capitalisation, punctuation and line-break habits across the rest.

What if the timing is off?

It will not be, because timestamps are never regenerated. If a specific cue still plays wrong, tell me the cue number and it gets fixed the same day.

Do you keep my files?

No. The original and the translation are deleted 24 hours after delivery.
