Korean SRT Translator
Send an .srt file, get it back in Korean within 24 hours — same cue count, same timestamps, nothing shifted.
Check your Korean .srt before you pay anyone
Drop a subtitle file below. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing leaves your machine. You get the cue count, the worst reading speeds, the lines that are too long for Korean, and a corrected .srt you can download and keep whether or not you ever buy anything.

Why Korean subtitles specifically
Korean subtitling demand follows the export of Korean drama and film, and every reverse-direction release needs a Korean .srt. Korean viewers are also among the most demanding about subtitle quality anywhere.
The part most tools get wrong
Korean puts the verb last, which means the punchline of a sentence arrives at the end of the line. Cue breaks that work in an English source often destroy the timing in Korean, because the clause that carries the meaning lands in a different cue.
That is why this is not a one-click converter. Every file goes through machine translation first, then a manual pass on cue length, line breaks and reading speed before it reaches you.
Reading speed in Korean
Korean is comfortable at about 12 characters per second with 18 characters per line, slightly above Chinese and Japanese because Hangul syllables carry more phonological weight per glyph.
Korean subtitle conventions most converters ignore
- Speech levels (honorific endings) shift with the relationship between speakers — a single wrong ending makes the whole file read as machine output.
- Spacing rules between particles are strict and are routinely broken by converters.
- Numbers and Latin brand names stay half-width while the surrounding text is full-width.
What you get back
- The same number of cues, in the same order, with the same cue numbers.
- Timestamps untouched — only the text between the timing lines is replaced.
- Line breaks re-cut for Korean reading speed, not inherited from English.
- A file that opens in VLC without a single warning.

Questions
Is the checker really free?
Yes, and it does not upload your file anywhere. It parses the subtitle locally in your browser, reports what is wrong, and hands you back a corrected .srt. If that is all you needed, take the file and go.
How long does one file take?
Under 24 hours for anything up to 60 minutes of runtime. A full season is usually 3–5 days depending on how many languages you need.
Can you match an existing Korean subtitle style?
Yes — send one episode you already like and I will match its capitalisation, punctuation and line-break habits across the rest.
What if the timing is off?
It will not be, because timestamps are never regenerated. If a specific cue still plays wrong, tell me the cue number and it gets fixed the same day.
Do you keep my files?
No. The original and the translation are deleted 24 hours after delivery.
