Indonesian SRT Translator

Send an .srt file, get it back in Indonesian within 24 hours — same cue count, same timestamps, nothing shifted.

Check your Indonesian .srt before you pay anyone

Drop a subtitle file below. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing leaves your machine. You get the cue count, the worst reading speeds, the lines that are too long for Indonesian, and a corrected .srt you can download and keep whether or not you ever buy anything.

Why Indonesian subtitles specifically

Indonesia is one of the largest and fastest-growing video markets in the world, and Indonesian viewers overwhelmingly prefer subtitles to dubbing. It is also one of the least contested subtitle markets in Southeast Asia.

The part most tools get wrong

Indonesian is compact and forgiving on length, which makes it look easy. The real failure is register: machine translation produces formal written Indonesian that sounds stiff and slightly official in spoken dialogue.

That is why this is not a one-click converter. Every file goes through machine translation first, then a manual pass on cue length, line breaks and reading speed before it reaches you.

Reading speed in Indonesian

Indonesian is comfortable at 16 characters per second. Because it is compact, speed is rarely the problem — register and idiom are, which is why a manual pass matters more than a faster machine.

Questions

Is the checker really free?

Yes, and it does not upload your file anywhere. It parses the subtitle locally in your browser, reports what is wrong, and hands you back a corrected .srt. If that is all you needed, take the file and go.

How long does one file take?

Under 24 hours for anything up to 60 minutes of runtime. A full season is usually 3–5 days depending on how many languages you need.

Can you match an existing Indonesian subtitle style?

Yes — send one episode you already like and I will match its capitalisation, punctuation and line-break habits across the rest.

What if the timing is off?

It will not be, because timestamps are never regenerated. If a specific cue still plays wrong, tell me the cue number and it gets fixed the same day.

Do you keep my files?

No. The original and the translation are deleted 24 hours after delivery.
