Turkish SRT Translator
Send an .srt file, get it back in Turkish within 24 hours — same cue count, same timestamps, nothing shifted.
Check your Turkish .srt before you pay anyone
Drop a subtitle file below. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing leaves your machine. You get the cue count, the worst reading speeds, the lines that are too long for Turkish, and a corrected .srt you can download and keep whether or not you ever buy anything.

Why Turkish subtitles specifically
Turkish demand is high for series export and for localising foreign content, and Turkish audiences watch a large amount of subtitled material. Turkey is also a major dubbing hub for the wider region.
The part most tools get wrong
Turkish is agglutinative: a whole English phrase can collapse into a single long word with several suffixes attached. That breaks line-length assumptions in both directions — the Turkish line is short in word count and long in characters.
That is why this is not a one-click converter. Every file goes through machine translation first, then a manual pass on cue length, line breaks and reading speed before it reaches you.
Reading speed in Turkish
Turkish sits at about 14 characters per second. The language is phonetically regular and reads fast, but suffix stacking means a single word can occupy half a line.
Turkish subtitle conventions most converters ignore
- Dotless ı and the ğ ş ç ö ü characters must survive encoding, or the text reads as misspelled.
- Vowel harmony means a suffix that is correct in one clause is wrong in the next — word-level machine translation breaks this constantly.
- Decimal comma and 24-hour time.
What you get back
- The same number of cues, in the same order, with the same cue numbers.
- Timestamps untouched — only the text between the timing lines is replaced.
- Line breaks re-cut for Turkish reading speed, not inherited from English.
- A file that opens in VLC without a single warning.
That button opens your own email app. If nothing happens when you click it, just write to gwdaeoi@outlook.com and attach the file — same thing, no account, no form.
Questions
Is the checker really free?
Yes, and it does not upload your file anywhere. It parses the subtitle locally in your browser, reports what is wrong, and hands you back a corrected .srt. If that is all you needed, take the file and go.
How long does one file take?
Under 24 hours for anything up to 60 minutes of runtime. A full season is usually 3–5 days depending on how many languages you need.
Can you match an existing Turkish subtitle style?
Yes — send one episode you already like and I will match its capitalisation, punctuation and line-break habits across the rest.
What if the timing is off?
It will not be, because timestamps are never regenerated. If a specific cue still plays wrong, tell me the cue number and it gets fixed the same day.
Do you keep my files?
No. The original and the translation are deleted 24 hours after delivery.
